95 Compound - Progressive Feel
Champions such as Troy Bayliss, Steve Hislop, Shane Byrne and John Reynolds choose Performance friction's 95 (motorcycle) compound for its excellent release and moderate initial bite, which yields a more progressive feel.
Excellent controllability with a slight torque rise for a more balanced suspension at high
corner entry speeds. Virtually fade free with excellent wear rate. 95 compound can be used on
either stainless steel or iron discs.

96 Compound
96 compound is very similar to 95 but possesses slightly higher initial bite with higher cold and
wet bite performance. Slight sacrifice in longevity compared to 01. This compound is ideal for
smaller diameter discs such as the Brembo 290mm race disc where brake effectiveness is not
compromised in return for improved turn-in and handling. Can be used both on Stainless
and iron discs.

99 Compound
Performance Friction 99 compounds have slightly higher bite and higher torque than the Performance Friction 95 compounds with excellent
release. Improved modulation thought out its range with a flat torque curve. Performance Friction 99 compound works well with stainless rotors. Performance Friction 99 compounds are very easy on the discs, with very low wear.

03 compound
This is one of the newest generation and the most advanced race compounds in the PFC range.
Performance Friction 03 compounds motorcycle brake pads have shown to have excellent initial bite and higher average torque than all PFC compounds. There is a slight rise of torque with temperature to handle the most severe
conditions. Performance Friction 03 compound brake pads have excellent release for improved modulation. Very easy on the discs with wear
on par with most PFC compounds. Requires finesse so as not to over slow or overwhelm
the bike’s setup.

05 Compound - High Bite
The standard by which all brake pads are now judged, Performance Friction 05 compound motorcycle brake pads won more world and national championships in 2005 than any other brake pad on the market. Riders such as Pere Riba,
Ben Bostrom, Tommy Hayden, Lee Jackson, and John McGuiness choose Performance Friction 05 compond motorcycle brake pads for its higher
initial bite and higher average torque, which demands more from motorcycle setup. Virtually no
torque rise or torque scatter for superior performance and rider feedback in the worst conditions
(wet or dry). Fade free with the best wear rate of all the compounds. Performance Friction 05 compond motorcycle brake pads can be used on either
stainless steel or iron discs.

07 Compound - Maximum Bite and Maximum Torque
Performance Friction 07 compound motorcycle brake pad is the choice for riders who desire maximum braking performance and torque. Performance Friction 07 compond brake pads have the highest intitial bite of all PFC Powersports compounds combined with a progressive
torque rise with temperature. Initial bite is managed along with feel and control, as to not upset
the suspension and allow a smooth transition between the brake and throttle.

28 Compound
Performance Friction 28 compound brake pad material is offered for Snowmobile applications only. It offers a very progressive
feel with excellent high temperature wear characteristics. 28 makes an excellent higher friction
OE replacement pad and is priced competitively. For Ovals or Ice LeMans where traction is
abundant, 90 compound is recommended. 28 has been used with great success by top ten
teams and overall Pro Champions in ISOC and MRP.

.10 Z-Rated Compound - Street Applications
PFC's new .10 Z-Rated street compound offers the highest performance for the street for any
application. PFC's Z-Rated compound was the first to gain European ECE Regulation 90
approval from any brake manufacturer for powersports applications. Excellent and consistent
performance in both dry and wet conditions for all riders.
