When Performance accessories are fitted to your vehicle (cams, exhausts, air filters etc) the engines management system goes out of tune. This is often recognised by not getting the power gains that you anticipated when these accessories were fitted. By fitting a CamFC, your vehicles air/fuel ratios can be modified to suit your Performance accessories resulting in an increase in Power, Torque, Response and economy.

The cam switching function of the CamFC allows you to optimise your cam switching point to suit your modifications further enhancing mid range Power and removing holes in the power curve.

For non-adjustable cam vehicles, the CamFC can be used for its AFC and Tachometer features whilst the cam trigger output can be used as an RPM switch for a shiftlight, high boost solenoid, NOS etc.

Gizzmo's launch Interface integrates with the Gizzmo Tach Recall
Shiftlight to enable the fully adjustable launch control function. The launch control function induces sequential misfire events at the desired rpm set by the user.
In a turbo application, having the throttle open while inducing misfire
increase the velocity and density of exhaust gases, allowing the turbo to spool up and generate boost with load. This results in boost being
generated before launching and therefore allowing a vehicle to launch with considerably more power. The ignition cut is clutch activated
allowing flat changing (the ability to change gear without removing your foot from the throttle). With the clutch engaged the rpm will pull back to the launch rpm previously set by the user in order to avoid over reving, this results in the vehicle not coming off boost while moving through the gears.
Launch control can benefit natural aspirated cars by giving a consistent launch rpm for best results every time, and enable quicker gear changes through flat changing.

The GIZZMO ECU does not fool or replace your original ECU. It does not clamp boost or speed circuits, nor does it make sensors offset to read differently. GIZZMO re-programs the factory limits. In addition to this, all the fuel & ignition maps are adjusted in accordance to your country and vehicle. Depending on the octane rating of the fuel that you use, we will offset the program to suit. We will also fabricate the program to suit the modifications of your vehicle right down to the injector size. It will be as if the vehicle manufacturer had intended it to be this way. Also, on all GIZZMO upgrades, the speed limits are removed and the boost and rev-limits are raised.

Exhaust gaskets are now made up mainly of a fibrous material that cannot withstand the demands of a

Performance application due to the higher exhaust temperatures. If not upgraded, premature exhaust gasket failure results; which obviously means an exhaust leak and a dramatic loss of power. Gizzmo’s copper gasket solution is soft enough to mould into the surfaces that you are mating it to; and they expand and contract with engine temperatures in order to stop leaks and the loosening of the exhaust nuts/bolts. Gizzmo’s Cu-Gaskets come pre-annealed so that you can just bolt them on. So if you want to do it right first time, Gizzmo’s CuGasket is for you.
